1992 Freemark Abbey Bosche Cabernet

Anniversary wine. 1/2 hr decant to let the must blow off. Nice spicy blackberry nose with some tobacco notes. Still lively on the palate with well balanced dark fruits, tobacco and pepper. Past it’s peak I think but still a pleasure to drink. [cheers.gif]

Had this and the 93 in the last couple of years and agree on the 92. The 93 on the other hand was another story. Was just approaching peak with tremendous flavored and depth. Worthy of seeking out.

Had a '90 a few years back (in late '12) it was the oldest Cab I had ever tasted since some of the early FMA Cab’s of the 90’s back in 2010. Gotta say after a short decant it was pretty approachable and easy drinking, took no notes and knew less about wine then than I know now.
