1989 Chateau des Jacques Clos de Rochegres Moulin-a-Vent

From a magnum recently purchased at the estate (72 euros), this was fully alive and drinking well. That said, I never would have guessed Beaujolais. It was burgundy like, but I would not have guessed that origin either. PNP, but improved in the glass over an hour or so.

These things live forever. I had a few older bottles as well and they were always alive. When drunk younger, i remember the oak was intrusive but with age, they are quite lovely to drink. Thanks for the TN.
