A bit of a last-minute post, but I’m in Seattle today 10/19 exhibiting at the Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair with a small selection of rare and early books on wine, viticulture, and related curiosities and I thought a few of you here on WB might appreciate it.
As a passion I run a tiny bookselling venture with some focus on antique wine books, vineyard manuals,18th-19th century enology, early ampelography, and the occasional oddity (phylloxera treatises, vineyard laws, monastic cellar guides, etc.). You can see the project and catalog at www.fenicebooks.com
This is my first time exhibiting in the U.S., and if any Berserkers are at the fair, or nearby and want to stop in, I’d genuinely love to say hello, show some paper history, and talk wine.
I’m at Booth 605. Come say hi!
