Received as part of a “Crisis in Napa” case from Wine Access…
2006 Maple Lane Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, alc 14.5%, $25…the nose is a bit sweet…on the palate…more serious dark fruit with a little wood sweetness underlying…really good texture and weight…the finish is one of building fruit intensity and less sweetness… mild tannins…Very good at the $25 price range… not sure what the original price was…
Did well with grilled NY Strips…
