I cannot imagine there’s any chance these will disappoint. I grabbed my 3-pack and passed on the mag as I’m too old at this point to wait for those to be ready.
I’ll probably grab another bottle or two once these start popping up on Winebid this winter as I assume they’ll be up at a discount. That’ll give me a chance to open one early and develop a plan for the other bottles, but so far I’ve had the 2019, 2020 and 2021 and my basic game plan in 10 years from vintage.

I’ve been passing since the 2019 offer and I still got an offer.
I see that ground shipping is complimentary on any order this year. That’s a refreshing change to the usual price increases as this sort of translates to a price decrease from last year. Trying to decide if I want to stick with one 3-pack or go with two.

I went in for a 3-pack. Debated on a second one, but decided that I need to save my resources for upcoming releases (Mowe, MacDonald, Turnbull, etc).

There are around 10 Bottles of the 2019 on Winebid this week for $125 ($147 after premium).
2019 vs 2023 is going to be a price difference anywhere.
It went from $195 to $225 from 2019 to 2023, but 2023 has free shipping, so only a slight actual price increase. Probably equal to or less than inflation over the last four years?
The $125/147 is the winebid secondary price for the 2019.

I think those 2019s are terrific wines. I think the haters don’t like tannins basically. I have bought 4 bottles off auction because of the pricing. I only bought the 2023 merlot and not the cab this go around. People swooning vintage over site/producer on 2023 vs 2019 is pretty nuts to me especially at nearly 2x markup and age. The site was purchased/inherited as mature and extremely well cared for historically. But like others, part of the reason I’m passing now isn’t the wine isn’t amazing but my resources are just spread too thin at the moment. I’m also starting to rethink wines priced over $200 in general. Suggestion to new buyers since these are really spectacular wines is buy those Winebid bottles. Screaming deal and will be a good compass.
Maybe I missed some of them, I was tracking 3 auctions that had 2 bottles each. One auction is gone, likely sold and now there are 2 auctions of 2 bottles each at $125 a bottle. I did consider buying some but I showed restraint.
