Got an email today as something of a pre-save the date for inaugural spring release of a 2019 ecotone cab. Don’t remember signing up for it but must have heard about it here at some point though can’t find any threads on the topic. Mr Graeme MacDonald is the wine maker. So based on that and the vineyard could be looking at another pricier wine realistically. But I have no further knowledge.
A little birdie told me about this wine. I didn’t sign up as I truly do not need to add myself to any more lists but very intrigued about the wine.
Have a feeling this wine will be excellent!
I really want to buy it, but need my credit card to stop smoking from things going on in life.
I hope they do in fact mean Spring, I should be fine by then.
Same here - it looks like I signed up based on an email from Roy Piper highly recommending it. Not sure if funds/space would allow it but it sounds promising
Yea definitely time for some hard decisions. All these releases hitting at same time and no pricing is going down.
Ecotone fruit (formerly Thorevilos). If it matters, AG gave it 93 pts.
I tasted 001 in August ‘23 and loved it. Loved what GM did with this fruit. Elegant and beautiful stuff.
I’ve culled my buying list significantly and this made the cut.

I’m meeting up with Jack Bittner in a few weeks for lunch to try the wine, and will circle back with my thoughts. However I’m glad @MICHAEL_C_R_O_M_W_E_L_L that you’ve had it and loved it. It makes me even more excited to try it!

Surprised at the score given the winemaker, vineyard, Roy’s rec, and vineyard. I guess scores aren’t everything!
I believe so. These were pulled from the Accendo and Impensata websites.
Will let you know in a few weeks, unless someone answers beforehand

I will be a buyer as long as its not another $350+ priced Napa cabernet.
