Couldn’t wait-the 2000 is in the decanter-dinner in an hour or 2. Grabbed a quick sip and Todd I get that pepper note. Very interesting…kinda tight at the moment-I’ll let this open up a bit.

Margaux Bel Air Marquis d'Aligre 1985 : 17/20 (excellent wine) - October 2021
Nice ripe evolution including mushrooms, spices, aromatic herbs, celery. Oriental, slightly smoky and a touch of soy sauce (don't wait to drink this vintage). Average density for a serene expression, with correct firmness and length.

First sip of first bottle Margaux Bel Air Marquis d'Aligre 2000. Delicious. 47 bottles to go. Was crazy value at $61
