I’m in a similar boat. I drink probably 75% new world, in part because they are more accessible and partly because I like old world wines at a more mature stage of development.
90.3%. Though it is worth noting that there are very few recent additions to the domestic corner of the cellar. Average vintage is 1990.

As Chris mentioned, almost all my European wines are hands off for 5+ years, though it doesn’t skew numbers in my case with Rhys, Peay, Bedrock and others also laying down for a while as well.

I know that there have been a lot of threads regarding different itemizations of cellars. I don’t remember seeing this one specifically. (If it occurred, excuse the redundancy.) What percentage of your cellar is comprised of European wines? Thanks.
