I always point this out in these “CT Cellar Composition” threads, but there can be a difference, even a huge difference, between your cellar composition and what you buy and drink.
For example, I have several times as many bottles of Bordeaux and Barolo/Barbaresco in my cellar than I do zinfandel and chardonnay, but I drink several times as many of the latter as the former. It’s a combination of what has to spend the longest in your cellar, plus what wines you are most likely to pull from your cellar and drink.
To those who only drink European wine or only drink New World wines, then it may make less difference, but I always feel the need to point that out.

14.6% Euro but that’s due to having no cellar strategy and rampant mailer purchases for most of the last decade. I’m working to close the gap.

You are right Chris, I go through a lot of NZ and Australian wines, don’t really cellar many of them, they are usually gone within a day or two…maybe 3 !!
