Doing a new pinot tasting tonight from the lists i just bought from this year (RM, Sojourn, Kosta Brown) and throwing in a Foxtrot pinot from the Okanagan valley

This is how all wine is made btw

I see this transitioning from my 2nd favorite kind of pr0n, into…

Great photos. Here’s the gnarly old monsters of the Best’s Nursery Block, Great Western region of Victoria. The most extensive pre-phylloxera plantings in Australia.

Some good info on the vineyard on their website. http://www.bestwines.com/nurseryblock

Impressive ‘weediness’ in the rows. Organic look and feel.

Thanks for the shout-out Harris, but that is my hammock and the vines of my very fine neighbor Frediani Vineyards. The Fredianis farm 190 acres around EMH, and we share working avenues on 2 sides of my property. Well, their exit is often over the driveway to my property, so let’s say 3 sides. My vines are actually out to the left. All 474 of them.

Andy Demaree and some others were here recently and took photos of my vineyard, perhaps they will post. Or perhaps you have them in your collection?

I do love this view of my property that you showed, and I use a similar view often, but it is of a sense of place, not of a vineyard.

Here’s one of Merrill’s vineyard, from just off the back porch:

And, although I posted it in another thread recently, here’s a picture of Corison’s Kronos vineyard (check out the wide spacing):

Very cool Nick. Thanks for sharing!

Pleasure. This is fun!

This next one - not my own photo - is of very old Barossa bush vines planted in 1853 owned by the Hewitson winery. There’s only 8 rows left and apparently they are the oldest known continuously producing mourvedre vines in the world. I’ll send some more pics after a planned trip next year.

Hewitson makes an ‘Old Garden’ wine from the 8 rows. A 2001 drunk last month was just delicious! Essence of Barossa Valley.

A few shots, but lacking details for some of them. Reminds me to pay closer attention when I shoot!
