I wonder what your lists would look like if just Grand Cru?
ybarselah: A.Gillette:Very cool that so many people have producers on their list from whom I own zero wines. It reminds me that there are still tons of burgundies that I still need to seek out. I have no simple way to calculate my top ten, but since I haven’t seen it yet I will throw out boisson-vadot as my source of well-priced and totally awesome meursualt, who must be close to cracking my top 10 at this point.
Aevery white i’ve had from this producer has been impressive.
really interesting to see the variety of lists on this thread.

they are there spiritually…
My list would be almost empty if all Grand Cru, as a latecomer to Burgundy. I’m probably about 65% 1er Cru though it’s skewed by Savigny and Pernand where 1er is relatively cheap. My Dujacs are 100% Villages for example… but happy to have them!

Hi Jon, first person with DRC and you come in with it in first place!! I was a bit surprised to see no mention of Rosseau or Roumier in your top ten?

The one gaining the most ground seems to be H-N with Bouchard dropping the quickest as I but few White Burgs these days.
Thread-drift: How many people have more white than red?
Probably 3:1 white over red. Much easier to find top quality whites at affordable pricing than reds, and frankly we enjoy them more.

I have enjoyed the Tribut wines I have had but have not tasted any with lots of age - had a 2008 about 8 months ago. How do they age.
If Mike and Jon listed their top ten cooking wines, it would look like my cellar.
