Cork fell in the bottle at the slightest hint of a touch, so there was no chance for the durand. Decanted and tasted immediately, I am struck by the translucent ruby color and shocking lack of bricking! This wine has a quite pretty nose, floral, a tad musty, but not in a funky kind of way. light spice aromas along with light red fruits (cherry, cranberry), and earth. Quite light on the palate, with a short, slightly watery finish, but it's not dead! Fun wine to taste. (85 points)
