If you want a refund of VAT tax, whether in cash or on credit card be aware of the following. Our flight home was at Terminal 2A which was on the same side as 2C. 2B, 2D and E on the other side of Terminal 2. Anyhow went to detax line on side of 2 C and 2A of terminal. Got to front of line only to be refused service. Learned I was in 2C line and a different detax location was for 2A. No indication of that anywhere. What a pain so be warned. Better system than prior years, IF you know about it. I assume the same applies at all terminals at CDG.
