Question Premier Cru?

I got an email from PC today, like I do often and they had 12’ BDX pricing, which some of the wines seemed reasonably priced but what struck me as weird is the pricing for the mags…

There’s more, but I’m too lazy to go through the work, so this is just a sample size.

I have never in my life seen a Magnum cheaper than a .750 per oz., it’s always been 2x bottle + $20+ premium, not less than 2X bottle cost.

Thought’s?
I know that PC is an irrational market so if that’s the reason, so be it, but is there a different reason?

Does make the mags look very attractive. I’d assume a different supplier, different prices to them (only explanation I can think of)…

They will take twice as long to get to you…?

What is never multiplied by two? Still never, yes?

They will be ready to drink by the time they are delivered!!

Dunno what you guys are complaining about.

First order with them ever on 12/21/13. Got these yesterday.

haha, I’m guessing those were “in stock”

I’m seeing those as 2011s? Not enough demand for them

Pre arrival in Dec. In stock now for almost double the price

looks like 01 to me

Perhaps this is the Chateau’s way of “declassifying” juice? [cheers.gif]

Perhaps the 750s are just overpriced?

Good eyes. 01s.

Did you pay more than $120/bottle? Because that is what I paid Premier Cru for my bottles of Rousseau 01 Beze.

Ok, that was a little obnoxious, I admit.

Those are make believe prices as far as I’m concerned.

Hope you bought cases of them at that price! [cheers.gif]

Oh, darn. Free storage. I hate that. deadhorse deadhorse

Unfortunately not. Only 3 - and 4 of the 01 csj @ $75/per. But i got delivery within two months of purchase!

Ah, the good ol’ days

Yeah, really should have bought cases of that stuff. How’s it feel to have messed up so badly? jk jk
