What’s the best / least expensive place to get Zalto glasses from? Especially the Bordeaux glasses.
Thank you much for the help.

stupid question - how is zalto allowed to permit retail pricing?

the S in MSRP is there for a reason. otherwise, the manufacturer would be in violation of trade laws.
We sell Zalto directly from Zalto. The stems are shipped within a couple of days. If Chris signed the same resellers agreement as everyone else, I don’t see the problem.

Robert. Please remove the ‘buyer beware’.

I’m essentially a founding member on this board and would like to think my reputation is pretty solid.
I understand your last post, but you’re making a leap of faith on some facts. My only comment on this is re-read Yaacov’s post.

Thinking out loud can be helpful. So. Amend your post, please.
I altered it some Chris, out of respect for your longstanding presence here.
Seem like a reasonable qualifier?
Tasteless.
Edited . . .
I’ve been in retail business in various industries over the years, never wine glasses, but nevertheless I can’t imagine it’s much different than other industries. The MSRP or UMP or what have you is typically the lowest price you can advertise a product (in an add, on the shelf, etc.) without being in jeopardy of being cut off as an authorized retailer. The manufacturer or distributor really has no control lover how much the retailer sells a product for, rather they use the carrot of cutting off the supply chain if you sell for less than the agreed minimum. I see nothing wrong with what Chris is doing, and if he gets cut off, that’s his business. Not sure how that affects the buyer/end user, and why he would have any reason to beware. If it’s the same glass, from the same manufacturer, with the same warranty, etc, the manufacturer will stand by the product wherever it was sold from (grey market exclusions can apply.) The real caution should be “seller beware.” And he looks to be quite aware.
Would alcohol be excluded from such trade laws? In La. There is a mandatory 6% minimum markup on wine between wholesale and retail pricing?
