Fourrier Griotte-Chambertin
I’ve actually never had Velvet Glove, and I doubt it would be my kind of wine, but I was just having fun with the concept of the thread. I imagine “voluptuous, lusty, full-bodied, and forward” would be some of the descriptors for that wine.
On an attempt to give a semi-serious answer, I often find wines with substantial cabernet franc in them to be very sensual. There is something so smooth and soft and velvety to the texture of wines like Cheval Blanc, Viader V, and Justin Justification. Like the wine floats softly above your tongue.
I love Loire cab franc as well, though with the high acids and the herbal/vegetal notes, I wouldn’t think of it as “sensual” in the same way.
Marc-
Had I seen this thread before I invited you over tonight, and known of your amorous emotions while your wife is gone, I would have had second thoughts.
This, by the way, is not sensual:
Do not do that again. And stay away from my wife and my gorgeous golden retriever even if he humps your leg again.
We shall see tonight if this little 1989 Loire is sensual:
