Your dumbest purchase

I am loving the gifs for the 27Lt bottle! :stuck_out_tongue:

I bought an English Ginger-infused white wine once.

Burgundy

Half the whites have been oxidized.

For the Reds I have since discovered I much prefer domestic pinot… more fruit and for my tastes more character.

Don’t get me wrong I have had wonderful bottles of Burgundy but when you tally the costs per good bottle it has been a bad experience for me.

That is utter madness, and I love it.

Did it ever get opened?

Rhys. Cases upon cases of mediocre pinot. My fault for buying into the hype and Gilman’s rave reviews.

I’m opening an '11 Maison Ilan tonight (the Monts-Luisants)

Not sure I understand . . .

93 pts

It was about $65 per 750ml, so reasonable if consumed, which I still haven’t.

Godzillthuselah?

What, no block parties on the regular?

I think its a direct replacement cartridge for this appliance.

That’s no wine bottle, it’s a space station.

#berserkerfest - 500ml per Berserker

I laughed.

Some early purchases from Garagiste before I learned what I should buy. Script & Seal was my first blunder.

I’ll buy your Alpine Chards!

more than 50 cases of mostly grand cru 1996 white Burgs right before premox became known and, yes, many, many affected bottles. The 96 whites on release were stunning. One Ramonet Montrachet was epic, 4 or 5 others hopelessly premoxed. Most are gone.

Forgive me, Matthew.

You win!

Should at least be easy to unload these.
