You may not like their wine, but the Schraders certainly know how to package it.

This week’ delivery of the new Boar’s View pinot from the Schrader family. I just love the branded boxes and this year, the internal dividers even have rubber cushions. With a note from Fred and Carol. A wine from Vineyard Manager Ulises Valdez and Winemaker Thomas Brown deserves a great package. I hope the taste lives up to it. [cheers.gif]

I love their branded Cab boxes with the stylized dragon.

My latest order from Carlisle just came in a plain ole styrofoam/cardboard box. I may just drop Carlisle. I’ll show them!!

Schrader’s packaging …

  • it is very nice
  • I’d rather pay less and get a cardboard box
  • it would be nice to have the vintage branded on the wood (I cut-out the piece of paper on the outer cardboard box that lists vintage and bottles inside and taped it to the outside of the wood box; otherwise I have to go through the hassle of opening the box to see what exactly is inside)

Liked the rubber cushions on the dividers holding the wine. Not really sure what the additional cost for these boxes are but they are very nice!
