Yellowtail Steaks, Baby Green Peas, with Monthelie

Tonight’s dinner was the last of our freebie Yellowtail Jack Steaks, pan-grilled in Lime Olive Oil, seasoned with Key Lime Pepper, SI Spicy Seafood Seasoning, and Tarragon; with baby green peas seasoned with garlic, rosemary, and black pepper. All was enjoyed with a 2006 Chateau de Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Monthelie ‘Les Duresses’ - primary red cherry and currant fruit, bracing acidity (very good with the yellowtail), and a medium long fruity finish. No dessert tonight, the meal was filling enough.

I had no idea that Yellowtail pairs well with steak. Was it shiraz or cabernet? [wow.gif]

No, they were yellowtail steaks, not beef steaks. We enjoy good Burgundies with rich fish.
