a) because it goes well with the evening meal
b) because it’s a science experiment / learning experience that involves alcohol (e.g. "win/win)
c) because my friends like wine, and I like sharing with them
d) because it fills in nicely on those days I don’t want another beer
e) because my SO does, and it makes her happy
f) because trying a few btls allows me to hang out on the WB board and participate

everyone has different taste. I personally don’t like most wine but i enjoy a few desert wines and blackberry merlot. Take a beer over it anyday.
