Now’s my chance to pay back my in-laws for getting me in to wine. They are unabashed Zin (esp. Dry Creek Valley Zin) lovers, and have been very kind to open many A. Rafanelli bottles for me going back to 1997, when their daughter first saw fit to bring me home. I’d love to give them something to compare. While I am on the Carlisle waiting list, I have had some luck in CC/Winex scoring some Carlisle wines in the meantime. Somehow, I missed the 2007 DCV Zin (thanks WS) and I am looking for at least one bottle to take to the OC in July when I visit them. If you are in PHX/Scottsdale for June or OC for July and are willing to sell/trade, let me know.

I could swear I saw some more of this on the floor at WineX this week. Let me check for you as they sometimes have stock on the floor that is not on the website for high volume bottles. Barring that I have one bottle or I can ask around the OC crew. Someone is bound to have an extra.
