i just bought Seven Fires. A food dream invoking book about grilling that is a departure from anything I have read before regarding the subject. Simple, primal, poetic.

I offered Tex my triple flame cigar lighter to light the fire at the Napa get together. Tex fired up the lighter, took one look at the jets of flame and gave it back to me. Said it would get the charcoal too hot to cook on.
