Fascinating. On a related and yet unrelated topic, I ordered a 2003 Naia Des at a restaurant on Friday evening and the wine was completely oxidized. I liked the wine on release, a lot, and I figured I would try it.
Parker said to drink through 2006. But he did give it 90 points, and considering he reserves the last 10 points for ageability, this was really like a 100 point wine on release.
Ended up with a delicious 2007 Giacosa Roero Arneis instead.
