They’ve said as much on their Facebook:
They also name dropped a few. Legit bottles, but for my money, I’m picking them out myself.

Somehow they can’t figure out how to do what LastBottle’s whole early schtick was…you know selling the last bottle and giving someone $25 for “winning”.
I did see that an hour or 2 after I posted, I got the message in an email. Nice to see they are putting in the effort. Katheryn Kennedy is very slept on…
If anyone on here ends up going for a case I am sure we would all love to see what turns up!
I guess I have not experienced much variance over the vintages, although I have never drunk them with enough age for the oak to dissipate.
Anyone ever had the Erba Cabernet made by Bevan? This is for the 2016…
Yeah, it’s actually very nice juice. “Bevan” in style but a little more restrained. I’d buy more if I wasn’t so overflowing.
Worth $44?
Yes, tastes like $80?
This is the first suggestion of this I’ve heard from you. Should I be concerned?
I agree with John. It’s a nice wine in a more restrained style for a Bevan wine.
Ha! Just staring down fall deliveries and the uncertainty of where it will all go. ![]()
This one looks very interesting…2023 Blackbird Vineyards “Manifest”, their flagship red…no professional scores that I could find, but other Blackbird reds from the 23 vintage had low/mid 90’s scores
Surprised to see so little info on this wine, but maybe more so that this is being billed as their “flagship” red. Either way, $60 for an Aaron Pott wine seems like a good deal.
I looked at this earlier today. Only a single vintage of the “Manifest” – this one – is listed on CT. I am skeptical. That and a 14.9% ABV makes it a pass for me.
agreed. could be anywhere from 13.9-15.9, insane for napa cab, especially in a vintage like 2023.
yeah these are the kinds of offerings that just blur into the background for me. another oaky $150+ cab ho-raaaaaay.
It looks like a very similar wine to their Arise, with the exception of 75% NFO vs 25% NFO on the wine they sell directly.
It seems like there was a ton of really good CS available in 2023, so they decided to switch banks and make some cab heavy blends. I think 2023 was an outlier for arise being at 90% CS. I’m with everyone else that a '23 pott CS for $59 is a great buy in a vacuum, but is it worth it with zero press and all the other 23s i have?
I think so. I have had nothing but enjoyable wines out of blackbird and knowing it’s Aaron and a 2023. Could be a banger for 55/bottle.
Bought a case. I’ll let the board know how it is.
Just bought one bottle of the appy hour hailstone. It’s a 2022 cab that I’ve never heard of for $59 so it checks zero boxes for me. I need help.
