2015 Quinta Maria Izabel Douro Oxidativo Branco would be a very interesting addition… @patrick_c_albright can probably provide more details on this, but it was quite impressive.
The white specifically is what I was referencing (have not tried the red). A rare intersection of interesting and delicious - the acid and salinity of an albarino mixed with the notes from the flor, it worked really well for me. If you like Jura fresh wines, this was sort of like that, but also not at all. I don’t have a ton of experience with Spanish wines in general, but this was a pretty singular wine for me. @Sarah_Kirschbaum has more experience with them, and showed me this wine initially. She may know if there are other wines in the region that are similar.
eta - the grape is not albarino, its “albarin blanco”, but has a similar profile to the other white grapes of NW Spain
