Wines of Jon David Headrick?

A local coffee shop cum wine bar sells an obscure (to me) range of wines, mostly European. Many of them are from Jon David Headrick Selections. I take it he is like Eric Solomon building portfolios of wines from small growers. His specialty is Loire though he also has a small range of Champagnes, Burgundies and Provence wines.

Does anyone have experience with his wines? The prices are mostly in the $15-30 range though I imagine they’d be less at a traditional retail outlet. I’m going to try a couple of the Loire Cab Francs, Sancerres and Vouvrays and report back.

Very nice stuff that’s well priced. I particularly like the Frederic Mabileau St. Nicolas and the Bordelet sparkling ciders from Normandy are fantastic.
