Yuck. I’m sorry, but that is sleazy. If my non-profit was approached by an outfit like that, I’d throw them out quickly. They say they donate about $2 per bottle, from an average price of $20. But the wines (priced $17-25) are an assortment of no-name wines that look like they should sell for under $10- Nahe Muller-Thurgau, VdP d’Oc Chardonnay, Hungarian Blaufrankisch ($25!). This looks like private label bulk juice, with a gimmick to get people to buy for charity, when the real money goes to the sleazeballs.
