Winery Musts/Help near Solvang/SB area?

I liked that place.

You should check out Clos Pepe if you can swing it. I don’t know if they’re open generally but my girlfriend and I happened on a tasting/tour event they were doing with Ken Brown a year or so ago and it was very interesting. Good wine and we learned a lot about winegrowing in the region.

Normally, I’d recommend a “Sideways” wine tour that includes Alma Rosa Winery, Foxen Winery, Hitching Post II and Los Olivos Wine Merchants & Cafe. Although it has absolutely nothing to do with the movie, Paula’s Pancake House is a good bet for breakfast, and for lunch or dinner, Don Carlitos. As for Rhone varietals, I’ve had decent experiences with Zaca Mesa Winery.
