WineLister: The 1,000-pt Scale....

ElinMcCoy gives her (sorta) endorsement in Bloomberg:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-05-13/do-you-need-wine-lister-a-new-1000-point-wine-rating-system
to the Wine-Lister Site:

and its 1,000-pt scale. Talk about nuanced. It has “all the facts that count in a single score”. Not only that…they don’t
even mess w/ a TN…just the 1,000-pt score. Those friggin’ TN’s always drove me crazy, w/ their “gobs of hedonistic fruit”
and “pain grille” references that were way over my head. Good riddance, I say.

All for a bargain subscription of only $130/yr. I’m in. [snort.gif]

Tom

I’m 1,000 points on this thread.

+1000

The new Spinal Tap system goes to 1100.

The new scoring system is for the millenials. ba - dum - tsh!

It’s clearly 10x better than the 100 point scale.

If one gets a 1000 points and another wine gets 999 points, does that mean it’s a millimeter better?

This will give Jeff Leve the precision he wants.

Milliliter.

I think they got their pricing and target market wrong, but I do think some of this can be important sets of tools for some segments of the rare/investment grade firms.

why not just go for a million?
