Bottles are still there. Good indication that the recession is NOT over.

Have you tried searching for Pichon Baron 2005, all round a better wine and Costco.com were pretty agressively pricing it.

I own both 03 and 05. Not sure if the 05 is a better wine as I haven’t tried it but the 03 is pretty damn fine also…Had it on release and loved it. I paid $66 for mine in 06 so $75 is a very good price for this wine.

Gotta agree. I had it on release…it was a closed big tannic wine but then had it again two years later and it really was evolving nicely. Needs another decade give or take a few. [cheers.gif]

i loved this on release and i think it was on sale around 80 near me. i think its a great price and wish
a) i had any money and
b) i could ship to md

never had the 05 to compare
