Great idea
Look at all the great deals you can get in MA
I like the idea of a MA WineHunter, but shouldn’t these be bargains?
$47 for a Cali Sav Blanc? [gheyfight.gif]
Let me know when costco waltham has Duval wines in…I want to get some of the 2006s
Actually, a few years back, Costco in Waltham had a 98 Petrus for $850. I have picked up Leeuwin Art Series Chards there in the past also.
Costco still has decent deals pop up from time to time, but I’ve found over the years the selection has been poorer while prices have risen. Not a great combo.
Boston can have some incredible deals on wine, if you know where and when to look. Vinnons is my store when I am in town, and I am oftenshocked by some of the incredible prices on wines there. Usually when it involves wines that have been on the shelf a little while, escalating in price on the secondary market, but they maintain the original price themselves is where is see killer deals.

Got an email this morning:
Martys Newton
2006 Copain James Berry Syrah - $119
Liquor World (Medway)
2004 Kosta Browne Koplen - $225
I can pick up in Medway if anyone’s interested.
Clarification.
The Liquor World wasnt an email, I was in the store and saw the wines.
All Gone!
And now safely in your custody??
Not Marty’s. I do all the emails.
Merry Edwards is unavailable on a wholesale level in MA, so we got creative.
Apparently creativity has extra costs.
Peter, the more time you spend here, you’ll learn to just ignore Pete C!
My bad, it was maybe BLM - anyway, just thought I’d post it given the spirit of the thread.
2005 Ch. St. Jean Cinq Cepages at Costco Waltham for $37
2006 Don Melchor at Costco Waltham $57
“Working” hard today?
