Damn! I’m in.
17 bottles on hand and no CT notes… weird!
Tanzer score sounds nice but pazzzz
Mark, you enjoyed the 06 from the TRB dinner, no? I don’t recall.
Here’s my note:
Two Hand Charlie’s Patch Cabernet Sauvignon- What an interesting wine. Very dark and brooding with some slightly angular structure. Currant, plums and black cherry cola with maybe a hint of green pepper. A decent finish. All in all a very nice cab if not in the same class of the Schraders but I would not refuse another sip if offered and I would certainly like to ‘experiment’ with this one again
I forgot that wine was at the dinner. It was surely overshadowed by the Schraders and Maybach, but it was a good wine. Thanks for reminding me.
Nice note for this on the other board. Glad I did not pazzzz. ![]()
anyone know how long this took to sell out?
Great day for cab lovers, this and the JJ Buckley Mondavi deal
I will gladly take my 2 05 Mondavi Oakville’s vs 1 two hands cab. Although I would be curious to try the two hands at one point
Man alive, I could not resist that deal either. $16.65 + tax per bottle of the Mondavi? I should have bought more than one case!
I tasted this with TRB from barrel in '06 and it is worth the $45 for sure!
Have to admit, I did not love it. There are better TRB cabs out there, to be sure, but the price is not bad. To but honest though, I would rather buy another RM can than this one.
I thought that the 2005 Charlie’s Patch was awesome when I had it in May.
You and me running concurrent again? Scary. ![]()
I quit.
Or maybe you are finally developing a palate.
Yeah, but I can do it for $80 less.

Tasting 2006 and 2007 this week. Wines will be very cheap.
The 06 was pretty nice. The 07 should be nothing short of great.
And Michael is no longer producing Napa Cab, for now.
Not a rumor, heard fromt he horse’s mouth, before people jump down my throat.
I will check out the wines this week, and hopefully make another smashing deal.
Don’t forget my ‘usual’ discount…
Marathon Monday had this up again for about 20 minutes. Gone again!
So, it never really sold out the first time, Mike?
