Yes, it’s Premier Cru pre-arrival. You takes your chances. And yes, it’s 03. What about producer over vintage? Bois de Boursan Chateauneuf for $15 a bottle looks like a sweet deal. premiercru.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Producer over vintage… except when it’s '03.
Touche.
Great price. BUY!

I haven’t had the wine, but I’m passing on this because of the vintage. Still, I love this producer and always find it puzzling that they don’t get more love - you seldom see notes on their wines, or at least I don’t.
There are some 2003s out there that are truly outstanding. Don’t be so afraid…
Given that PC has had Clos St Jean, Usseglio and Cristia, all 2007 CdPs, for the same price at one point or another over the past month or so (as well as the 2006 Charvin CdP for $25), I think that there are loads of great deals out there, so it is getting easier and easier to be selective.
Don’t mock. This is a terrific CDP.

2003 Domaine Bois de Boursan Châteauneuf-du-Pape - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1/8/2009)
True to te vintage, this opens with insanely ripe notes of raspberry jam. However, drinking slowly across an evening serves it very well. Spreading waves of bramble and garrigue burst out with fresh, woodsy flavors. Loads of white pepper and a spicy personality. Very enjoyable. (92 pts.) -
2003 Domaine Bois de Boursan Châteauneuf-du-Pape - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1/9/2006)
Value 2003 Châteauneuf-du-Pape at Le Pichet (Seattle, WA): Earthy, smokey, leather, yeah! The fruit right now is a backdrop to the impressive structure and earthiness of this wine. Lovely! (93 pts.)

Yeah, it’s '03 and I respect Melissa’s response. But this is Cotes du Rhone pricing for a terrific producer with a wine that’s in my cellar for a price that’s ridiculous. The only drawback is ‘pre-arrival’ status. At Premier Cru, that could mean years. Literally. Caveat emptor, but it’s undoubtedly a deal that people should know about. You never know, it might show up soon.
Clos St. Jean, Usseglio, and Cristia for $14.99? Really? If so, I really missed out. But I think the lowest has been about $24 for these. Still a great deal, but not as great as $14.99-- daily quaffer territory for me.
These were not widely distributed prices (i.e., no broad based email but a more limited email); got some of each of these at $15, but probably should have gotten more in retrospect.
Hopefully you’ll all receive it while it’s still drinkable…
