This is funny. But yah, they do so many private labels I don’t think they all should be considered the same. I mean they might do 50 a year.
Not sure this is the same wine as before. I bought a few months ago CHAD “2018 Chad Private Reserve Red Blend Napa Valley”. It was pretty good. This looks different. I’ve had good success with CHAD in the past but I only bought the higher end ones. Used to buy a lot years ago but WineAccess stopped carrying it, probably because there wasn’t oversupply.
But McCrossin said it was $500+ juice. All indications are that’s not true. No one was saying you were going to get ripped off at 20 per, but it’s absolutely correct to be skeptical that a company is selling $500 wine for $35 less discounts

For those that took advantage of the Amex $50 off $150 wine access deal, who was listed as the merchant? My charge says Kachina Cellars and I’m concerned that won’t trigger the offer.
Sure, be skeptical. That video was ridiculous. But many of us also purchased it because there were enough data points to believe it would be a substantially better wine than $20 or $35. And it seems like those data points were right. I don’t care if it’s $500.

"Arrival day for Yesterday cabernet. Excitement, curiosity and lack of self control resulted in opening one right off of the UPS truck.
Gorgeous ripe sappy red fruit that is rounded and weightless in the mouth. Amazing purity here. Finish loaded with sweet spices and BBQ smoke. Decanted for 8-hours as this was super tight upon opening.
This needs time, but will really be worth some patience. Thanks to @wineaccess for this unbelievable offering. Thanks to @sommvivant for such a great video intro to this unique “shiner” project."

Yah, I’m arguing it’s worth substantially more than $20 though. This is the same debate we’ve had for months over in the de Negoce thread. For a host of factors, I never thought it was worth $500. There is a giant window between $20 and $500 though! And it seems, based on the first 3 reviews, it is indeed worth substantially more than $20. Is that number $75? $100? $200? Based on the first three reviews, seems more like $100-$200. That’s a heck of a bargain!
Thanks for sharing this review. Even though Amanda’s video may have come across over-exaggerated, but as I mentioned previously, I do trust her palate when it comes to Napa wines.
Whether this bottle is actually worth $500 is somewhat subjective, as I’ve had mailing list $200 cabs where I thought they were worth <$100. As long as Yesterday tastes good (which so far reviews seem to point to) and punches above it’s class, I would call it a worthwhile investment.
I ordered a case after seeing the offer on reddit. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but bottles broke in delivery 
. Wonder if wineaccess will be able to make it up now that its sold out.
Very likely they held back cases for this kind of stuff.
