90% of U.S. consumers drink their wine within two weeks of purchase. If someone who normally does that hangs on to a bottle of Napa cab for, let’s say, a year-and-a-half, have they really put some age on that baby? They may think so. Do you?
Wouldn’t it be helpful to readers to put at least some general ranges and some meaning around the term “aged” wine (which appears in this thread at least a dozen times)? Others have done so.
