Long easy sweet ,yellow fruits aftertaste.
Really young charming and absolutely outstanding .

Sweet photos, Roman.

What elevation are/were you at? Whish wine could have similar powers here after the miserably gray and rainy autumn we’ve had. Shouldn’t complain as spring and summer were unusually warm and sunny.

I’ve never had a Wittmann GG. Sounds delicious from your note. I’ve bought some '12 GG, but with limited funds have concentrated on the Nahe and Mosel that are my favorite regions. Decanting? I had an '12 Emrich-Schönleber Mineral Riesling Trocken the other day that really came alive after about an hour of air. Kept getting better with time, even held up real nicely when getting warm in the glass. Beautiful structure from the minerality and acid, a somewhat stern and still brooding Riesling, very young yet already gorgeous, not what to look for if you prefer lusciousness and fruit, but right in my wheelhouse. I’ve kept from opening '12 GG yet, or even the few '10 and '11 I have.

thanks,
is not really high 850-950 müM but have a good overview in many directions.

Wittmann GG was also first time for me,but sure not the last time.
Sure (to) young, but was really a oustanding wine, after 1-2 hours in Decanter.
But normally i drink not (many) riesling, more Chardonnay(burgundy).
Maybe 99% from my cellar is red.
but never say never.
