Wine Shops in San Francisco

The Wine Club is a few blocks from K&L and usually has some interesting stuff at solid pricing.

They moved years ago, they are in the Dogpatch now and do not do walk in retail anymore.

My suggestion, particularly because of the time constraints is to order online at K&L and just pick up, order a few days in advance as it takes a few days if the wine is in the main warehouse or Redwood City branch (longer if Hollywood). My secondary choices are Flatiron wines (parking will be a bitch as there is lots of construction on New Montgomery) or Ferry Plaza Wine merchants. Flatiron has a pretty good website so you can see what is there, Ferry Plaza’s online list is quite incomplete. Third place is Arlequin Wine Merchants, but they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

If you want to sightsee as well as wine shop, Ferry Plaza Wine and Arlequin are your best bets as the places they are located also have other stuff there aside from wine.

It may be a bit far from the airport, but I highly recommend Verve Wine in Pac Heights on Fillmore. Great selection and shop from Dustin Wilson
