Probably not much in the way of stores. For restaurants, though not THAT new and not BYOB there’s the Back Room at Moody’s Delicatessen in Waltham. One of the best lists of wines by the glass I’ve seen in the area.
This new wine bar Nathalie opened up near Fenway which I’ve been to a couple times. The list is all female winemakers and organic/biodynamic/etc. A little too pretentious but found some wines there I liked. From the same owners as haley.henry downtown.
Not new, but didn’t see it mentioned in a quick skim of the above. I highly recommend Select Oyster bar - they have a very reasonably priced wine list. Best price on Clos Ste Hune I’ve ever seen.
Rebel Rebel in Sommerville (Bow Market) recently opened up – another all natural wine bar, list changes nightly with some really fun gems – but it’s a super small space, out of the three times I attempted to go, I only actually sat down once.
