Going to UNI in Boston tonight
Leaning towards the Dauvissat Chablis, but worried the 09 might be too fat. There are a couple of red burgs I never heard of: Eric Suremain “Preaux” 1er Cru Rully 2012 and JR Vincent Auxey Duress 2009. Also Cognard “les Vieux Chateau” 1er Cru Montagny 2011. Any comments on these wines?
Also, the sake list may be the way to go. I remember liking Junmai Daiginko, but could use recommendations.
I guess I should also consider the Huet Demi-sec Haut/Lieu 2009 - how was that vintage in Vouvray- I’m concerned it might also be ripe.
