Where did you get the Saxum release dates? Hadn’t seen a mailer on that one yet.

Seems some people got their postcard announcing the order date and some did not. I am in the camp that did not get my postcard but have ordered for 4 successive vintages so I’m not worried! At least not yet!

We are writing to give our customers advance notice that the offer for our Winter release of wines should arrive in email boxes on Tuesday, January 26th. This release will feature the last Pinot Noirs from the cellar-worthy 2007 vintage. Unfortunately, quantities from this low production year are quite limited.

The 2009 Rhys Vineyards Winter release will include:
2007 Rhys Alpine Vineyard Pinot Noir $49
2007 Rhys Alpine Hillside Pinot Noir $59
2007 Rhys Swan Terrace Pinot Noir $69
2007 Rhys Horseshoe Vineyard Pinot Noir $59
2007 Alesia Green Valley Pinot Noir $44
2006 Alesia Fairview ranch Syrah $25

We will also offer a small number of magnums of our 2007 Family Farm and Alpine Vineyard Pinot Noirs.

Allocations for these wines will be available until February 12th, at which time we will offer any remaining wine to wish list requests and waiting list members.

You can of course blame the USPS for this. Bunch of f’ing losers…in the literal sense. They freaking lose everything these days. A post card destined for you is probably sitting in a mail box surrounded by bulk adverts three streets over.

Also in Jan, for those who care, first half of the Turley 08’s, Aston Pinots (so shoot me, I like ‘em), KB 08 appellations.

Nothing on my radar for Feb, except another post card from SQN for the next lot of long aged Syrahs.

March, spring mailer season in full swing 07 Scarecrow, Maybach, Outpost True, wine club shipments, etc., etc.

Also, Schrader keeps getting pushed earlier and earlier, the 07’s hit April last year, maybe March this year? I need help…

Looks like the Syrah is being released at price lower than the $29 Mr. Harvey stated earlier (iirc).
Also Mr. Harvey, I will wash barrels and tanks for extra Horseshoe allocation. [training.gif] [basic-smile.gif]

Does anyone know which Carlisle’s will be released on the 14th? I finally hit the list last fall.

The 2008 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay release letter will go out Wednesday January 20th. The offering will consist of 3 bottles each of the Sonoma Coast, Occidental Ridge, Summa and Summa Old Vines and 2 bottles of the B. Thieriot Chardonnay. The prices will remain the same as last year and everyone who received a Cabernet offering in the fall will receive this offer.

Our Spring 2010 wine allocations will be sent to you via e-mail and in the form of a mailed card on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Both notifications will include your User ID and Password needed for ordering on our secure website. You may access all allocations, tasting notes and ordering information on our website.

This release is exclusively for our 2008 Chardonnays–Ritchie Vineyard Sonoma Coast, Hyde & Sons Vineyard Carneros (inaugural release), Reuling Vineyard Sonoma Coast, and Aubert Estate Lauren Vineyard Sonoma Coast.

All allocations are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Mark your calendar! We will announce your status for the 2010 Spring Release (2008 Russian River Valley and 2008 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noirs) via email on February 15th.

Happy New Year to everyone; we hope 2010 continues to be a year filled with joy, success and good health. We are letting you know that we are sending out the Winter mailer on February 1st and you can expect it at your home within the week. This time around we are offering our 2007 Howell Mountain Petite Sirah, 2007 Howell Mountain Petite Sirah “The Other,” 2007 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, and the much-anticipated 2007 Howell Mountain “True Vineyard” Cabernet Sauvignon.

We received another strong round of reviews from Robert Parker back in December, most notably the 2007 True Vineyard Cab received 98 points and our 2007 Howell Mountain Cab received 95 points. We feel all the wines in this release are of the best quality we have ever produced, and to see scores that corroborate that feeling is icing on the cake for us.
