Wine made by Baseball players

Greg Maddux had a 2006 cabernet that I can’t seem to find online, but if you look around it has a great baseball related label.

The A’s called up a relief pitcher a few years ago named Andrew Carignan. Maybe find some wine of his.

The wine is listed on CT. Only 1 person owns this wine. I’ll bold the name below.

Quoted from Above >
The MLBers are Rich Aurilia and Dave Roberts, their spouses and another friend. Rolando Hererra from Mi Sueno is their winemaker.

My cousin had season tickets to the Yankees. He’s a baseball fanatic. Other sports are meaningless to him. It’s easy to give him a good bottle of wine from my cellar, but it’s not going to have the impact a baseball related bottle of wine will have.

Thank for the leads.

D.Roberts and I have a mutual friend and apparently he’s been into wine for quite awhile so they are serious about making decent wine. Never tried it.
MLB.COM was hawking private label wines with a label and wine for each team. Not sure if they still sell them, and the wine is probably meh, but a fan might like to have the bottle.

RMP just tweeted a pic of a new Napa cab from Cal Ripken.

Get the GTS. (or the GTS Nancy’s Fancy). I have had them both and they are awesome.

Decent winemaker.
