Had to pick up a few of each. I’m buying much less this year but have to buy a few Pegau each vintage. Especially love off years of Pegau. Bought a case and a half of the 2008 from PC for 24.99 per bottle a couple of years ago and they are now long gone while some other years sleep in the cellar.

Are Brett levels in Pegau on the decline, or is each year a mystery?

If you are worried about Brett you would probably be better off to avoid Pegau. It seems to be a very polarizing wine.

Too bad, as bottles that I have had that have been stored and transported well have been unbelievable. If the price were half of what it is, I could justify tossing 1/2 the bottles if they bloom, but not at this tariff . . .
