Wine Group Hartford Area?

I moved to the Hartford CT area (Glastonbury) a few years ago. Would love to meet up with any fellow wine lovers in the area.

I am about an hour west of you in Brookfield. That seems to be the average distance between wine geeks in northern CT. Though I believe there might be a cluster of 3 in Hartford’s greater metropolitan area.

Not sure why, but it’s even been hard getting my long standing Connecticut tasting group back into the swing of things post COVID.

I live in Maine, but my Friend Eileen is near Worcester, an hour away, and I visit her frequently. Would be happy to get together in Hartford, would need to plan at least a few weeks, better a month ahead.

I travel to Glastonbury 1-3 times per year from AZ. I will reach out when a trip gets planned.

I’ll be moving to the New Haven area next summer but will be taking trips up to the state every few months. I would love to establish a wine group.

I am in the New Haven area. I’ve met up with a few of the posters up-thread and always had a marvelous time! Lets get a CT tasting group going!

I’m ITB and certain I can find a restaurant in the Hartford area that would not charge corkage. No one would need to host or worry about cleanup. Let me know if this would be the direction others would like to go in? Then it’s just a matter of throwing out possible dates.

Would love to do that in the future. At the moment I’m going through stomach issues. I have a colonoscopy scheduled for next week.

My work and travel schedule is a bit crazy but would love to get together if schedules work. I live near Tom just east of Hartford. However, I am in Boston most weeks during the week but could try to be local if we get together.
