There’s an entire thread for that
Glasvin Kane, Grassl 1855, Zalto Burgundy. And you are covered for literally everything.
This man is handsome, wise, charismatic. A man of taste.
Josephine No.3 and Grassl Cru. One less glass and still covered everything.
I recommend Spiegelau HiLite.
To me the best QPR. Look and weight as the premium glasses but way cheaper.
For me: Zalto Universal for white/rose, Grassl 1855 for reds.
Value play: Spiegelau!
Only if one is satisfied suffering the indignities of poor taste and poor tools.
(I kid! But since I designed the Glasvin - Kane for a berserkerday a few years back, I must slight your post)
I think the Kane is almost an ideal design for a universal glass EXCEPT the base is way too big IMO. Otherwise I like the shape of the glass a lot.
David and I addressed that. All current batches have a meaningfully reduced base (I actually think it could be about 1/8 - 1/4 inch wider all around now. Much easier to store now.
Good to hear!
do you actually put you Zaltos in the dishwasher? This is recomended in the flyer they include since they feel it reduces human error. But still, as stated above, they can break by just looking at them
Depends on the dishwasher (machine that is). Asko or Bosch good to go.
Discount code is KJJ?
I put them top rack on my GE and I’ve never had an issue. I’ve never broken one either and have owned them for some time.
Since OP was looking for glasses, I noticed the Manufactory has $65 off orders of $160 or more and GG has $35 off $110 or more of ordered through Shop App. The machine blown GGs are nice imho
Slight rant: I wanted a couple more Zalto Universals and and noticed the discount, but 2 stems are $156 :-/
