That is one very jaded person, makes Posner look sort of cheery actually…

Tee hee.

Pretty soon, there will be the Posner bashing thread.

There’s been a chain email on that topic for years.

You have my address, throw me on.

I would, but it would be too painful for you.

Unless Steve Pohlman is on there, I can probably handle it.

I am a big boy. Not the BIG BOY, of course, we reserve that title for one of your friends that owns massive amounts of 1996 bubbles.

Me, I own 1997 DP by the cruiseship load.

Don’t sell yourself short - you own cruise ships full of '98 and '99 DP too.

And no, I would never confuse you with BIG BOY.

Actually I kind of liked the article and read all the rest by Christina H. She’s pretty funny.

It’s a funny article, indeed!

I would have LOVED to be around for the two tastings of the same wine, different label, and, most shocking of all, the white wine colored red that fooled the tasters. I’m really wondering how that is possible…

Perhaps some offline in the future, we should do the very same types of experiments. Hagen, how about the office tasting with a little snobbery-tackling?

Sounds fun to me. I’ll check the calendar.

Wine critics. Weather forecasters. And, as far as I’ve been able to tell, fund managers.

That being said, at least in the first and last categories, I’ve encountered a few exceptional individuals (very few) that I do believe have an edge.

Cheers!

I wonder if that person has seen Sadat X?

Love these two photos for the weather forecasters. The second one having the caption:

Seriously, > anyone > can do this.
