Yes, I guess I was not being very accurate. There are 0.3048 ft in a metre. So 3.3m is closer to 11ft (10.8 ft) and 3.4m is 11.15ft. I was rounding my numbers as when you add framing, insulation and plywood walls it tens to shrink somewhat.
I had a cellar designer do the cellar for me and I had to measure the space about 5 times until he was satisfied that I had gotten it right!

Mine were (in 1992) app. 300 $ (for almost 4000 bts) … just the material, I did it all myself …

Gerhard, it cost a lot! Construction of the rooms (there are two rooms, the photos only show one). It was at the back of the garage and had to be enclosed and then insulated and lined and have power and lighting and internet installed. The design of the cellar the customized American Redwood racks, the installation procedures, the refridgeration system and the control system and monitoring system. I am reluctant to give a figure as it would be widely considered to be excessive. We were renovating the entire house and my wife told me to do a good job with the cellar (and I am not really that much of a handyman tbh).

I see, no problem.
I´ve been fortunate (or should I say wise …) that when we bought this house the cellar was already there, totally underground (so neither temp.control nor humidity necessary), but full of trash, otherwise empty … I just had to clean it up and built the racks in …

Back to OP - Wine Racks America will also do a design. You can upload dimensions and then work with designer on specifics. Good quality racking - I did a review here a couple years ago (search for threads started by me).
