We’re running a contest at grapeguides.com in November. Just write a review of a winery in Napa or Sonoma and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win $100 from wine.com.
grapeguides is a new website focused on helping people plan trips to wine country by providing user reviews of wineries, user-created wine trails and lots of other regional information.
It’s super easy to write a review and each review counts as a separate entry in the drawing.
I always love contests where the entries becomes content for the company holding the contest. What a great way for you to populate your site and get this… Do it all for only $100!!! Wow such a deal…
Does seem to be a bit spamful. Tip for Mark. Hang around on a bulletin board. Participate, like for real. Add value. Write tasting notes. Then people are OK with you promoting or mentioning your product in the proper context.
Well it worked pretty well for 10,000 posts. Now not so much… (not because the board denizens have an issue but rather the board hosts take a very narrow view of the world)
I was very sad to have to give up my day to day board (eRP), but Squires et all are so hostile to me that it is not worth it for me to be there. I do still post on the occasional CT thread AND Top Chef threads.
