Willamette x Rockridge, East Bay November 16 at 4:30

Gauging interest for a tasting on Sunday November 16 at 4:30. Would probably try to cap at 12 to faciliate some food pairings from the Oregon Wine + Food cookbook.

Tentative menu:
Parmesan Chive Gougeres with Shrimp and Citrus Aioli
Beef Bourguignon
Dark Choc Pudding with Coffee-Cardamom Cream

I’m more than happy to join! I have a nice little cache of WV wines that I brought down from Oregon!!

Cont’d bullish on this date and topic. I do have some WV Pinot, but my Leah Jorgensen Cab Franc stuff might be an interesting counterpoint. (Not WV; she found a slice of terroir in the Rogue River Valley; however, quite yummy).

I’m a maybe. Could definitely bring some older Vincent Wine Cos.

@BobbyP happy to expand to Oregon more broadly, if folks prefer.

I’d like to join! I have it on my calendar. But my work travel schedule is tentative.
Hope to make it

Put me down as a maybe!

This sounds awesome! I am a maybe if only because I’m on call that day for work. But that ends at 5 so could probably arrive 5:15-5:30

Will confirm one way or another in the next few weeks

I’m happy to join! I’ll be going to Portland this weekend in case someone wants me to find something more local to that area.

Would love to go!

(Yes, even though it’s not Riesling.)

I mean, it doesn’t have to all not be Riesling.

Awesome, really looking forward to this one. Think we might be past 12 people already! I’ve got:
Susie + 2
Paul + 1
Colby
Jeffrey
Pedro & Clare
MJ
Rod S
Bobby
Keith A

Maybe
Kevin
Juan L

My +2 aren’t confirmed yet, but between them and the maybes above we should have a full house. I’ll start a message thread to discuss the details. Lmk if anyone has dietary restrictions. If anyone else wants to join in comment here and I’ll see what we can figure out.

Looks like tomorrow night may be the most diverse and best experience of the three classes. See you tomorrow night!

We have an insane lineup for the last class in our Historic Wines of France series. We were able to release two more tickets, so if you’ve been waiting to jump in, this is your last chance to join us for what might be the most memorable tasting of the series!
