Who's making the killer Bordeaux glass now?

Drink more Burgundy

I gotta lobby David to put my Glasvin back into production. I was able to fit 24 of them on my top dishwasher rack the other day with a whole load of dishes in the bottom. Don’t recommend trying that with Conterno Sensorys.

Late to the party here, but I use Zalto Bordeaux and Conterno Sensory (didn’t see anyone mention this later one but I really like it).

Cheers

Open the door when the cycle is complete. The residual heat dries the glasses in minutes.

Use a rinse agent.

grassls, zaltos and ggg’s: hand wash w/bottle brush, then baking soda (doesn’t etch), then distilled water rinse, air dry.

I used to use a zohorushi hot water dispenser to wash glasses when I washed them by hand; it dispensed >200F water. Got rid of it when we had our daughter though.

Is it normal that when I use a delicate glass (e.g. Conterno Sensory) that when there’s a decent amount in the glass (maybe >3-4 ounces) that when I aggressively swirl the wine, it almost seems like I can feel the stem flexing slightly, like the way that skyscrapers are engineered to sway back and forth in the wind?

Yes. Normal. And you’re not imagining things, either; the stem is, in fact, actually flexing a bit.
