Time: This crime took place on Dec. 27
Location: Carmel Cheese Shop, Carmel, CA
Stolen articles: 1982 Salon Brut Blanc de Blanc and a bottle of 1988 Salon Brut Blanc de Blanc (estimated value for both $1,100).
Suspect description: Asian man, small in stature with spiked hair

Obviously, I’m innocent - the stolen articles were French. [that and the fact that I’m not a small Asian man]

Who did it?

Hope it didn’t involve the infamous heat-damaged shipment of 1988 Salon.

I’ve had one of the bad bottles, and they are very, very awful.

I was in Fresno at the time, drinking Mad Dog 2020 from a crazy straw. Wine in brown paper bag, but I have the receipt
